ANOTHER GREAT FIND!
As mentioned in a previous review, I need to wear low-heeled shoes and sneakers are not always appropriate. I purchased the Grasshoppers Cerise shoes in dark brown and liked them so much that I purchased them in black as well. The price was fantastic, and the shoes are wonderfully comfortable. An online comparison check indicated that the sames shoes would have cost me three to four times as much in other stores.

wide foot beware
For the value I could only rate average because it didn't fit. The shoe itself is stylish for casual wear and is well made, but beware if you have wide feet . I wear a 7-1/2 wide. The body of the shoe was very comfortable but the area around the strap was too tight. I wore it around the house for a couple of days but couldn't break it in. Sadly they're going back.

My feet don't hurt anymore!!
When these shoes arrived, I said to my husband, "these are my first pair of old lady shoes". But when I opened the box and placed them on my feet, I was very surprised. They felt great and looked very stylish. My husband said "why did you call them old lady shoes - they look great". I guess I just thought that the Grasshopper name meant that they would be comfortable but not very stylish - boy, was I wrong. I love them. They are so comforrable. Now, when I'm dressed nicely, I won't have to wear my sneakers if I'm going to be doing some extensive walking - I can wear my Grasshopers!!!!
