painful foot bed
I bought a similar Clarks Privo sandal a few years ago. Jumped to buy these when I saw them, as the others are great, but showing their age.
The previous pr. has two features this new one doesn't:
1) two cushy pads built in, one at ball of foot, one at heal. Makes walking long distances comfortable. This one has a harder foot bed and added nubs that stick up. They cover the whole foot bed! It's uncomfortable!
2) previous pr. has a lip at the back of the foot bed. I wear an arch support and it stays put in the older sandal. This sandal has no lip, so my 3/4 length arch support constantly shifts around. My hope is that a full length arch support (more expense) will stay put and that it will help with the pain from the nubs on foot bed.
I give it a 2 on value. The price is good, but as they are, I won't be using them much unless I spend more money and the full length arch supports stop the pain from the nubby foot bed.
