My unit leaked first time I used it pieces from brushes came off after a few more uses changing to hand held tool is a pain, clumsy to move and store, I haven't been happy with quality, price now is less than what I paid. I had a big green machine for about 15 years that cleaned better and was a snap to position and simple to change cleaning attachments, but the pump went south, can't replace, this hoover won't last anywhere near that. My advice is to try another brand and pay attention to how to change the tools and how easy it is to remove and empty the dirty water tank.
