Horrible product
I have always been a fan of Rubbermaid products. However, I just replaced my old Rubbermaid dish drainer with this newer model. MISTAKE!!!!!! I purchased the small size and tell me why Rubbermaid took it upon themselves to design this model without the cup/glass holders?? I mean...just because I don't require a large sized dish drainer does not mean that I am a caveman and don't own glasses and cups that I need to drink out of and wash???!!!!!! This is a totally ridiculous design flaw that I wished I would have noticed before purchase. I am going out to the recycling bin to get my old model back!!!!! What a waste!

Where is the rest of it?
My mother bought this for me, thinking she was helping me out, and tossed my old one without my permission. This one is a piece of junk! It is missing about 1/3 of the needed wires to hold in everything I wash in my sink. The flatware holder is too small and the complete wrong shape, my knives fall over and fall out every time and if I try to put my cooking utensils in it, they fall out. The flatware holder is also 'not moveable', if you try to put it in a place that makes more sense, there is a HUGE hole left. The flatware holder is now somewhere else as I managed to rescue the old one from the recycle bin. Speaking of HUGE holes, the number of wires in the corners to hold in things like bottles and cooking utensils that no longer fit in the flatware holder seem to be missing. Completely. Say What? Yup, gone. The stuff just falls through. It was pretty, though. I couldn't resist pointing out to mom that when the coating cracked on the second day and rust showed through on the third that it looked just like the one that she tossed, but unlike the old one #ten years old#, this one was more of a dish STRAINER than a dish DRAINER, and we will just have to take it out to recover - and rewash - the dishes it didn't strain out. The "new design" isn't going to save me any more work, just the opposite, it has created more work, wasting time I don't have. I am having to tie wires in just to keep my dishes from falling through. Thanks for nothing!

Poor Design
Very disappointed in the design of the new dish drainer. The older ones were made better and the water drained into the sink instead of going all over the counter. The quality of the older dish drainers and mats were much better and I'm very disappointed in the new one. If I still had my receipt I would definitely return it.

How could you?
Dear Rubbermaid Designers, You will be happy to know that I made it safely back into the house, with no broken bones, after walking out to the parking lot and climbing in and out of the garbage dumpster. Why did I do that, you ask? TO GET MY OLD DISH DRAINER BACK! And at my age such acrobatics are no small feat, but it was worth it. Have any of you people ever actually washed dishes? No--I didn't think so. If you had, you would realize that the silverware cup does NOT belong in the center. In that location it's in the way, and the space on each side of it is wasted. When it was located in the corner, the design was just perfect. The bottom was little enuff that small items didn't fall down flat, causing a tangled mess. In the corner the cup took up the smallest total space possible, and was the ideal arrangement. Why did you mess with perfection? So I will just keep using my old, stained drainer until you come to your senses.

Disappointed
Bought this dish drainer to replace an old one and was hoping the Rubbermaid brand would mean quality. Found it flimsy and the configuration was better. Would be much better if it was made of thick, quality stainless steel and the feet were removed for something sturdier.

Cheap
I replaced my old drainer recently and dislike this one immensely. Very cheaply made. Feels like the glass holders are going to bend from the weight of a glass on them. The drainer doesn't hold much and I don't like where the silverware holder is located. Big waste of money. Also hate the drain board. Whoever thought it was a good idea to change them so the wide side drains into the sink. I feel like the whole drainer is in the way and if I put glasses on the holders, they are in the way when I'm washing the dishes. Very awkward all the way around. I like the old style that the drain mat holds the drainer the long way and not the width of it. Very poor design. Hope to find a better replacement. I guess that was money down the drain!
