Disappointing
This center replaced one that was 18 yrs old.
The instructions are terrible. The make a big deal about being able to "view the video" Well I guess they never stopped to think that the computer isn't out of the box yet - cause there is no place for it or the old one had to be broken down when the old center was dismantled. There were about a dozen pieces that were not marked with either a sticker or stamped on the side as some were in this set. The fasteners absolutely stink. The old set used a post and barrel. These things are round plastic disc with some sort of crummy aluminum screw you turn.
The thing took a good 8 hrs to assemble and I've been in construction 35 yrs.
I've put together cheap mdf (particle board) stuff before and none were as poorly thought out as this one. Oh and make sure you have at least one other person around b/c they insist you build the thing laying on the floor - then they expect you to actually flip it over so you can nail the cheapy back panel on, and THEN you can stand it up. as for the back panel - well they used to be Luan plywood - now it's cardboard. AND to add insult to the misery - Boscovs doesn't like for people to pay with a check. We were the second people in that day who got thier check turned down for insufficient information. We are not credit or debit cared people. So we get penalized for using a check
