Good fun but super cheap
My kids loved this drum set but in a day the cymbal broke off and in a week the drum set totally broke apart. A year later I still have the seperate broken up drums and the kids still bang on them. The boys got pleasure out of this but I think it is worth about ten dollars maximum.

Cheaply made but still gratifying
This drum set is inexpensive and you get what you pay for - cardboard and cheap grade plastic hold together a drum set that looks decent but regularly falls over. The kick pedal broke two days after I got it and the set is sure not to last long term. However that being said the kids love it, it sounds pretty good for something so cheap and I don't really want a drum set that lasts forever. I had it put together on Christmas morning and my two year old and four year old both thought it was great. The toy is most appropriate for a three year old child, despite the recommendation on the box for 5 and up.
