Does all it promises
This coffee pot makes hot coffee and keeps it that way, solving a problem we'd been having with our older pot. And it's fast. Programming the morning brew was uncomplicated (never did figure it out on the old one) and we are delighted.

good witih exceptions.
This product makes good tasting coffee probably due to the charcoal filter. However, the finished prodkuct is not as hot as was advertised. We used the 4 cup setting whicih is supposed to have double heating but could not tell a difference. Also the 4 cup setting on the side of the coffee maker does not correcting align with the 4 cup marking on the caraffe. I would still recommend the product. Also had trouble getting the top off the caraffe. Poor directions about this issue.

Great machine!
This is a great coffee maker. It's easy to use, comes with a charcoal water filter and a permanent gold-tone coffee filter. The water reservoir is calibrated and viewable externally from the side of the machine. Additionally it can be programmed to turn off from 0 min to 4 hrs after brewing. Although it has a "brew-pause" feature, it is mentioned in the included literature that using this feature will alter the strength of the pot since the strongest coffee is brewed at the beginning of the cycle. For the best tasting pot of coffee, DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO USE THIS FEATURE!! You will be disappointed. Finally, I have to mention that Boscov's had the best price and free shipping which made it an unbeatable bargain--and I shopped around! Highly recommend!!

We are very happy with the Cuisianrt 12 cup coffeemaker #DCC1100. Makes excellant, hot coffee.
Our new coffeemaker is the answer to my husband needing to heat his coffee in the microwave. Other brands which we have used did not make the coffee hot enough for him. I am very happy to have found a solution to hot great tasting coffee.

Great features
I love this coffee maker.I love the fact there is a special setting if I only want to make a few cups.It's also wonderful that it doesn't drip when pouring a cup,no mess to clean up.It has a real classy look too,people are impressed.

Great design and performance
I love the small footprint of this coffee maker. It takes up very little counter space despite its large capacity. The machine is a little tricky to fill, but if I take my time, it's not a major problem. The machine also makes good coffee; I have found using the provided scoop uses the perfect proportion of coffee. I got a great price on this machine and the shipping was really fast.
