Extra strong construction and reinforced design features, including a special reclining mechanism constructed of 7-gauge steel, support up to 500 lbs. Perfect for the very tall!! My hubby needed a new recliner, and this was the only one that he actually fit on! He's 6'5 and his feet dangled off of the other ones that he tried. He LOVES it!1 It's well built, comfortable and has the Lane name behind it, so you know it's quality! March 8, 2013

This product is constructed well and is comfortable. My Stallion came today to replace a lazyboy king size which I rebuilt 6 times since '96... The stallion is made for a tall person, the footrest is where the feet are instead of the calve. You can feel the chair is going to be around a long time. If yyou're looking for a quality big man recliner I think this may do the job. I'll try to repost in a few months and let you know how it's going. This big ole Bear is Happy.. October 27, 2012

very sturdy This chair is solidly built. It is firm. The only downside for me is that it is a little tall, my legs dangle, but it is perfect for my 6'5" son. December 17, 2011
