Keds - Sallie CVO
For that casual day.....
Love these shoes. They are clean and simple and can be paired with almost anything. From skinny jeans to a casual spring/summer dress. The shoes are very new, so this won't be an issue much longer, but you do need to break in the back of the shoes where it wraps around your ankle. It hurts a little at first, but after 3 times of wearing them so far, they are getting much softer. Have received many compliments.

More support/comfort than average canvas Keds
I like the simple style of Keds; other athletic shoes are getting too covered with useless puffy applique. But some Keds are too flat and thin-soled. The Sallie has a thicker (but flexible) sole with a bit more padding, and the surface that contacts the ground has a slight arch where the arch should be. One minor drawback is the flocked pattern on the bottom of the sole; it makes the shoe a bit slick at first, but it wears off. I would not use this shoe for hiking, slick wet surfaces, or strenuous activity. The shoe runs true to size and fits my slightly narrow heeled feet, with plenty of room still across the instep. I've worn mine almost daily for 5 mo. and they are holding up well. Like another reviewer, I'd like this shoe in more colors, especially black and brown if possible.

This shoe is great for a high school majorette who practices a lot. The sole is thicker than the average Keds. I bought two pair just for this reason. Great shoe!

I would recomend them if someone wanted leather
the shoes I got was not the ones I thought I ordered I thopught I was getting the Twill material but I got leather.. They hurt my feet that is the reason I wanted the twill. I had orderded the twill before and really liked them.

Sallie is very comfortable with a cushioned footbed. I have tried other styles of Keds but they had no cushion and I felt like I was walking bare feet. I only wish black was available in the Sallie. Great Shoe!
