Shrinks in the wash/great hand to the fabric
Good stuff first - the fabric has a great hand and the sole cushioning is wonderful. OK, now for the bad news. My husband wears a size 12 - the sock fit out of the wrapper, but after the first wash - it shrank to a barely tolerable fit. The search continues.

major shrinkage
I've been buying these extra large Haynes stocks for years so imagine my surprise when the latest order of 12 pair seemed not quite as big as they should be but I wore one pair for a day the threw them into the wash as usual. Now they fit my wife's tiny feet perfectly. I live in the country and hate shopping so the internet is a boon and until now I've always trusted Haynes. Unfortunately I now have to find another source for large socks.
