Pot breaks easily
My old KA made excellent coffee. Until an unexplained error code after 1 yr. Got another as a gift because the coffee was so good. Same thing happened again after the warranty ran out. On this model, the 1-4 cup setting must be reset every time so they could save a button. Pot broke after a month of gentle handling. Replacement very expensive. Generic pots won't fit. Puddles of water mysteriouly appear on counter. Coffee is good. I would never buy a Kitchen Aid coffee brewer again.

KitchenAid Coffee Maker Leaks all over
Paid more thinking this was a quality coffeee maker, but it consistently leaks and you end up with coffee everywere. It doesn't do it everytime and I haven't been able to figure out why it does it. I do not recommend this coffee maker.

Coffee Finatic very Disappointed
Just like the other reviewer here. I've given this coffee maker chance after chance and the flavour of the coffee is never consistent. I put in the right amount of water in the tank and it spills over when brewing this. It has done this 4 or 5 times now. So when I buy a 12 cup capacity I want 12 cup capacity but I can only brew 10 cups cause if I fill to the line... I don't know it is creates more steam or what or the extra water just magically appears. I'm taking it back to the retailer and getting my money back. Arrrgggg!!!! Coffee is so important to me and this maker gets a TOTAL FAIL!

I have bought numerous KitchenAid products and i have never been disappointed until now.
There was water under the coffee maker and all around it. My counter top looked like someone spilled water. I'm not sure if it was from all the steam or it leaked somewhere. I tried to brew 12 cups and it wouldn't brew all of them. There was still water in the chamber and i only got 10 cups. It looks nice but i do recommend it.
