Overall, very supportive bra I purchased this bra because it was similar to an all cotton bra I favored. The nylon cups are smooth under clothing and the side panels do indeed offer support and shaping. I found the band width a little tight, but NOT in a pinching way. I could just be used to my old washed out tired bands that are very loose. This bra gives great support both for the "girls" and if you need a little extra support for the below the armpit area which tends to bulge/sag with age :). All in all, I'm quite pleased.
