It only goes on one way....directions don't tell this, but it works great! Had trouble putting it up as the smaller end wouldn't go in the bracket. Had to take it down and figure it out, remove curtain as once I figured it out...then I had to take the curtain off and put it on the other side. It went up smoothly after that. December 27, 2011
