Totally Happy With This Bunn Coffee Maker!!
I've owned 4 or 5 Bunn Coffee makers over the past 30 years. My first one was left with family when I moved. I love that this coffee maker has a slight smaller footprint than the other classic style Bunns I've owned as we have such limited space in our tiny apartment. I love this particular one as the lid slides instead of flip-up design. Also, there is no noticeable plastic water reservoir stick that pops up & down as is true with similar models with the flip-up lid (where you pour water in). I am happy that my old round shaped Bunn carafe fits in this new coffee maker as I prefer it to the newer carafe style that comes with the new models. I also use my old Bunn plastic water measure container instead of using the carafe to measure the right amount of water. This makes a minimum of 4 cups of coffee or a maximum of 10 cups with room to spare in the carafe that comes with it. Very easy set up, comes with filters, although I use our non-bleached regular 10-12 cup size basket coffee filters without any issues of grounds escaping. I am surprised how easy & well the basket slides and fits into this coffee maker - no fiddling around making something fit right the first time (important if you are half asleep!). I've always gone with the white coffee makers, but this black one with the stainless steel is good looking and not over bearing on our counter. In the past, I've had excellent customer service from Bunn - they had sent me a couple of new screw on spray heads for my old machine when somehow we must have lost it when throwing out the coffee grounds one time. And that might have occurred because I unscrewed it to clean it & may not have properly replaced the spray head.
