Burton Krieger Co-President and Chief Merchandising Officer of Boscov’s Department Store, LLC Mr. Krieger joined Boscov’s in 1983 as General Merchandise Manager for Linens, Domestics, Furniture and Curtains & Draperies. He began his career in 1972 as Assistant Buyer of Housewares and Notions at Abraham & Strauss in Brooklyn, then joined William H. Block in Indianapolis as Buyer of Domestics and Table Linens. He served as Head Domestics Buyer for Gold Circle Stores, Divisional Merchandise Manager of China, Glass, Silver, Books and Gifts at Davison’s in Atlanta and subsequently as Divisional Merchandise Manager of Textiles and Bedding for Filene’s in Boston. He was Sr. V. P., General Merchandise Manager with responsibilities for Home Furnishings, Candy, Cosmetics, Domestics, Optical and Hair Salons prior to assuming the position as President. Mr. Krieger holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and an MBA from Ohio State University. |
