CAMPUS OF COURSES
Winter session begins on Sunday, January 29, 2012!

It's back to the classroom for people of all ages!  Boscov's invites you to come back to the classroom for the winter session of our popular Campus of Courses.  Check over the courses listed, select the ones you like, then register as soon as possible.  Payment is required at the time of registration and may be made in cash, check or with a Boscov's Credit Card only.  Registrations by phone will be taken only for those who are using a Boscov's Credit Card or registering for a FREE class.  Registration for the classes will also be taken at the Courtesy Desk or by mail.  Register early-- classes are limited in size.  Registration fee covers instructors' fee, purchase of all supplies is the responsibility of the student.  To register by phone, please call (724) 773-7196, ext. 1278.

AARP Driver Safety Program

AARP Driver Safety Program (formerly called 55 Alive) is an 8-hour classroom course for experienced motorists 50 and over, developed by AARP.  (Note:  Pennsylvania law mandates a minimum of a 5% car insurance discount for those 55 years and older upon completion of the course.  Couples who drive must both complete the course.  Consult your insurance agent.)
#1:  Tuesday, February 14 and Thursday, February 16; 10AM-2PM..............$12 per person for AARP Members / $14 for Non-Members, payable to AARP at first session to instructor
*Checks are preferred, but exact cash will be accepted.  Please bring a pen/pencil and a valid PA Drivers License.

AARP Driver Safety Program Refresher

This is a 4-hour refresher course for those who completed the full 8-hour class 3 or more years ago.  Participants must bring proof of completion of the 8-hour class.

Massage for Stress Relief and a Healthy Life

Citizen CPR
American Red Cross, Beaver-Lawrence Chapter
This is a new course offered to teach untrained bystanders how to perform hands-on CPR.  It is a 30-minute class that will describe when and how to perform hands-on CPR and to demonstrate it as well.  A question and answer session will follow.  No certification received.

CELL PHONE DONATIONS
Boscov's and the 911 Cell Phone Bank have partnered to promote responsible cell phone recycling and provide emergency communications to those in need. 

Customers who have used cell phones are encouraged to drop them off at the Customer Service desk at any Boscov's location.  Collected cell phones will be sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing.  In return, the 911 Cell Phone Bank will provide law enforcement in communities served by Boscov's with free emergency cell phones for seniors and victims of abuse.

The 911 Cell Phone bank is an initiative of The Charitable Recycling Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  It was created to provide an ongoing and readily available source of emergency cell phones to meet unexpected and urgent needs of vulnerable residents in communities nationwide.  Since its inception, the 911 Cell Phone Bank has generated more than 80,000 emergency cell phones for victim services organizations nationwide.
