Calling all Non-Profit Organizations!
Boscov’s Invites you to be a part of
Friends Helping Friends

To earn money for your organization in a simple and quick way.  All organizations are welcome as long as you hold a 501c OR 170 c1 status.

Friends Helping Friends is a day to enjoy great shopping, super savings, refreshments, door prizes and the chance for people to support their favorite non-profit organization.

Discount Shopping Passes to Friends Helping Friends will be available only from participating non-profit organizations.  Each participating non-profit organization will have the opportunity to sell for $5, a 25% * discount shopping pass to the event.  100% of the ticket money will go to the selling organization.

All ticket holders will have a chance to win one of three $500 shopping sprees
In addition each store will give away a $100 Shopping Spree

Special Needs Shopping Day Event

Tuesday, December 2
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Everyday our doors are open to you with reserved parking, accessible entrances and special assistance upon request, but join us on Tuesday, December 2 with special hours dedicated to seniors and our friends with special needs. 

We will have helpers to hold doors, carry packages, assist in making choices, and wrap your gifts… whatever you need!  Refreshments will be served.

GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT

Toys for Tots
Visit Boscov’s as your Toys for Tots drop off location.  Bring an unwrapped toy to the lobby of the store until December 5 and we will get it to the local Marine Corp group. Toys for Tots boxes are located in the lobby.

Angel Trees
Located in the store are Angel Trees for various organizations.  Simply take a tag from the tree, purchase the item/items requested and return the unwrapped gift with the tag attached to our Courtesy Desk.  There will be a tree in the Lobby for NHS of the Capital Region and a tree for the Bethesda Mission at the bottom of our stairs in Optical until December 15.

Food Drive
Bring your can goods with you and donate them to our food drive for The Central PA Food Bank.   From December 1 – December 30. The Food Bank distributes food through a network of community agencies that is comprised of emergency pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior citizen programs and childcare centers.  Our container is located in the lobby.

CAMPUS OF COURSES - Instructors  Needed

Do you have a hobby, talent or information you'd like to share?
Join the faculty of Boscov's Campus of Courses in Camp Hill and Colonial Park Malls...

Boscov's is looking for talented people who would like to teach their own special talent, hobby or share knowledge with others during our Campus of Courses program.  You need not be a professional instructor, but you must be able to communicate well with others to share with them your own particular skill.  We have openings in all course areas including calligraphy, languages, cake decorating, arts & crafts, needlework, financial planning, health & fitness, interior decorating and anything and everything others might enjoy learning.  Class schedules are being created for early 2015.  Morning, afternoon and evening schedules are available.

CELL PHONE DONATIONS
Boscov's and the 911 Cell Phone Bank have partnered to promote responsible cell phone recycling and provide emergency communications to those in need. 

Customers who have used cell phones are encouraged to drop them off at the Customer Service desk at any Boscov's location.  Collected cell phones will be sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing.  In return, the 911 Cell Phone Bank will provide law enforcement in communities served by Boscov's with free emergency cell phones for seniors and victims of abuse.

About 911 Cell Phone Bank:
The 911 Cell Phone bank is an initiative of The Charitable Recycling Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  It was created to provide an ongoing and readily available source of emergency cell phones to meet unexpected and urgent needs of vulnerable residents in communities nationwide.  Since its inception, the 911 Cell Phone Bank has generated more than 80,000 emergency cell phones for victim services organizations nationwide.
