Colonial Park Events CAMPUS OF COURSES Fall 2010 Semester begins Monday, September 20, 2010. Registration and money must be sent to the store in which the class is being held. Walk-in registrations are accepted at our Courtesy Desk during store hours. Registration by phone can only be taken with a Boscov's charge. You can register by calling the Courtesy Desk at Colonial Park at 717-540-4222. Registration fee is per person and for the class only. The purchase of any supplies is the responsibility of the student and is payable directly to the instructor on the first day of class. NOTE: Registration begins Tuesday, September 7th at 10AM. Class space will not be reserved without payment of fee. *Note: All classes are held in the auditorium on the 2nd level unless otherwise noted. Beginner Line Dance Fun Instructor- Tamora Stum Put on your sneakers or boots and learn the Cotton Eyed Joe, 16 step, Electric Slide, Ride Em' Cowboy, Canadian Stomp and Cupid Shuffle. #2 COLONIAL PARK- Friday, October 15 7PM to 8:30PM $7 Ballroom Dancing for Beginners Ballroom Break Dance like the stars. This class will introduce you to beginner Ballroom Dances- Fox Trot, Waltz, Swing and Rumba. Partners preferred. #4 COLONIAL PARK- Wednesday, September 22, 29; October 6, 13 7PM to 8PM $28 Introduction to Belly Dance Instructor Karida Move with grace and confidence for fun and fitness. Join Karida as she introduces you to the mesmerizing movements of the mother of all dance- the Belly Dance. Students should bring water, towel and sneakers or footwear for dancing to class. #12 COLONIAL PARK- Thursday, September 23, 30; October 7, 14 6PM to 7PM $40 AARP-55 Driver Safety Course A comprehensive in-house driving course designed for those 50 and over. The course objectives are to help drivers understand the effects of aging on driving skills and to learn driving strategies and more. Completion of course may qualify drivers 55 and over for a 5 percent discount on auto insurance premiums. There are no graded tests in the course. (Note: Classes fill rapidly. No phone registrations taken, as only cash or check made payable to AARP are accepted for these classes.) #20 COLONIAL PARK- Monday, September 27 & Tuesday, September 28 10:30AM to 3:30PM $12 Member, $14 Non-Member AARP-55 Driver Safety Course This course is for those drivers who have previously completed the eight-hour course. Collected cell phones will be sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing. In return, the 911 Cell Phone Bank will provide law enforcement in communities served by Boscov's with free emergency cell phones for seniors and victims of abuse.
