Winter session begins on Sunday, January 29, 2012...

It's back to the classroom for people of all ages!  Boscov's invites you to come back to the classroom for the Winter session of our popular Campus of Courses.  Check over the courses listed, select the ones you like, then register as soon as possible.  Payment is required at the time of registration and may be made in cash, check or with a Boscov's Credit Card only.  Registrations by phone will be taken only for those who are using a Boscov's Credit Card or registering for a FREE class.  Registration for the classes will also be taken at Boscov's Granite Run Mall Courtesy Desk or by mail.  Register early- classes are limited in size.  Registration fee covers instructor's fee- purchase of all supplies is the responsibility of the student.  To register by phone for classes, please call (610) 565-6009, ext. 1278.

Hocus-Pocus:  Magic Show and Workshop
Kyle Peron- Magician and Illusionist
Kids 5 and over are invited to watch a full 50-minute show filled with magic, music, illusion and interactive fun.  Learn the secrets of magic in an interactive workshop.  Tricks will be shown and taught.  All students take home a certificate of completion.  One parent per student may attend.

Hoopnotica
Morgan Hembree
Hoopnotica is a multifaceted program that incorporates the use of a hula hoop into the world of dance, as well as fitness.  Learn how to control the hoop and move it around on your body.  Eventually, each individual movement or "trick" can be combined into a sequence of motions known as "hoop dance."  No hoop or experience necessary.

Movie Night
Regional favorites George Anastasia, longtime crime reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Glen Macnow, popular radio host on WIP-AM, will visit the store for a talk and signing for their great new book, The Ultimate Book of Gangster Movies.  In it they rank and review the 100 greatest gangster films of all time.  Each movie's chapter includes a complete synopsis plus informative sidebars like "Hit," "Miss," "I Know That Guy," "Bet You Didn't Know," "Reality Check," "Pivotal Scene" and more.  You will enjoy highlights from many of the book's movies including the Godfather, Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction and A Bronx Tale.  Enjoy this fun, interactive night with trivia, prizes and refreshments.  A $5 registration fee will be donated to Family Services of Delaware County.  A collection of non-perishable food items for Family Services of Delaware County will accompany this event.

CELL PHONE DONATIONS
Boscov's and the 911 Cell Phone Bank have partnered to promote responsible cell phone recycling and provide emergency communications to those in need. 

Customers who have used cell phones are encouraged to drop them off at the Customer Service desk at any Boscov's location.  Collected cell phones will be sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing.  In return, the 911 Cell Phone Bank will provide law enforcement in communities served by Boscov's with free emergency cell phones for seniors and victims of abuse.

The 911 Cell Phone bank is an initiative of The Charitable Recycling Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  It was created to provide an ongoing and readily available source of emergency cell phones to meet unexpected and urgent needs of vulnerable residents in communities nationwide.  Since its inception, the 911 Cell Phone Bank has generated more than 80,000 emergency cell phones for victim services organizations nationwide.
