"LOVE UNITED" Basic Needs Drive
The United way of the Greater Lehigh Valley (UWGLV) has partnered with UPS for the Love United Basic Needs Drive.  From February 1 through February 13, 2012 members of the community- as well as corporate partners- are invited to collect supplies for families struggling to meet their basic needs of food, shelter and clothing.  All items must be new and supplies can be dropped off at Boscov's, Lehigh Valley Mall.

Items needed:
Antibacterial Wipes
Bath towels
Blankets
Body soap (bar)
Deodorant
Diapers (all sizes)
Dish soap (Dawn or similar product)
Hand sanitizer (liquid)
Hand soap (liquid)
Sleepwear for women and children (all sizes)
Socks (all sizes)
Underwear (all sizes)

CELL PHONE DONATIONS
Boscov's and the 911 Cell Phone Bank have partnered to promote responsible cell phone recycling and provide emergency communications to those in need.

Customers who have used cell phones are encouraged to drop them off at the Customer Service desk at any Boscov's location.  Collected cell phones will be sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing.  In return, the 911 Cell Phone Bank will provide law enforcement in communities served by Boscov's with free emergency cell phones for seniors and victims of abuse.

About 911 Cell Phone Bank:
The 911 Cell Phone Bank is an initiative of The Charitable Recycling Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  It was created to provide an ongoing and readily available source of emergency cell phones to meet unexpected and urgent needs of vulnerable residents in communities nationwide. Since its inception, the 911 Cell Phone Bank has generated more than 80,000 emergency cell phones for victim services organizations nationwide.
