Boscov's invites you to be a part of FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS
Tuesday, October 5, 2010
To earn money for your organization in a simple and quick way.  All organizations are welcome as long as you hold a 501(c)3 status.

Friends Helping Friends is a day to enjoy great shopping, super savings, refreshments, door prizes and the chance for people to support their favorite non-profit organization.

Tickets to Friends Helping Friends will be available only from participating non-profit organizations.  Each participating non-profit organization will have the opportunity to sell $5 tickets to the event.  100% of the ticket money will go to the selling organization.

Do you have a hobby or talent that you would like to share?  Join the faculty of Boscov's Campus of Courses.

Boscov's is looking for talented people who would like to teach their special talent or hobby to others and share with them their own particular skill.

We have openings in many course areas, including arts and crafts, dancing, basic computer and internet skills, yoga, foreign languages, decorating, financial planning and more... anything and everything that others might enjoy learning.

Classes will begin September 19th and end on October 16th
Morning, afternoon and evening schedules are available.

CELL PHONE DONATIONS
Boscov's and the 911 Cell Phone Bank have partnered to promote responsible cell phone recycling and provide emergency communications to those in need. 

Customers who have used cell phones are encouraged to drop them off at the Customer Service desk at any Boscov's location.  Collected cell phones will be sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing.  In return, the 911 Cell Phone Bank will provide law enforcement in communities served by Boscov's with free emergency cell phones for seniors and victims of abuse.

About 911 Cell Phone Bank:
The 911 Cell Phone bank is an initiative of The Charitable Recycling Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  It was created to provide an ongoing and readily available source of emergency cell phones to meet unexpected and urgent needs of vulnerable residents in communities nationwide.  Since its inception, the 911 Cell Phone Bank has generated more than 80,000 emergency cell phones for victim services organizations nationwide.
