2015 SUMMER FOOD DRIVE

July 1 through July 31

Boscov’s invites you to join us during the month of July as we kick off the 2014 Summer Food Drive with the Food Bank of South Jersey.  Summer is an important time as children will be out of school so extra food is needed for at-home meal preparation and snacks.

Benfits: FOOD BANK OF SOUTH JERSEY Food/Nutrition/Sustainability

Please contribute to the Food Bank now through July 31.  Help those in need by dropping off non-perishable canned or boxed goods and baby formula at our parking lot entrances at each store.

Most needed items are peanut butter, canned meats and fish, soups and fruits, beans, nuts, breakfast cereals, pasta and pancake mix, etc.

During this summer season, no one should go hungry!  For more information contact: Boscov’s Public Relations 856-772-6400

FOR OUR TROOPS
Holiday Card Drive

Join Boscov’s in showing your support to the men and women overseas this holiday season!
How can you show your support?  We invite you to drop-off a holiday greeting card at Boscov’s Courtesy Desk that can be distributed to any soldier overseas.  Please do not specify a soldier’s name on the envelope or card.  Our goal is to make sure that every soldier receives warm wishes for the holiday season.  All greeting cards need to be dropped off at Boscov’s Courtesy Desk by August 31, 2015.

Holiday Greeting Card Craft Table
Create your own Holiday card for our Troops in the Children’s Department each Saturday during the month of July.

CELL PHONE DONATIONS
Boscov's and the 911 Cell Phone Bank have partnered to promote responsible cell phone recycling and provide emergency communications to those in need.

Customers who have used cell phones are encouraged to drop them off at the Customer Service desk at any Boscov's location.  Collected cell phones will be sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing.  In return, the 911 Cell Phone Bank will provide law enforcement in communities served by Boscov's with free emergency cell phones for seniors and victims of abuse.

About 911 Cell Phone Bank:
The 911 Cell Phone bank is an initiative of The Charitable Recycling Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  It was created to provide an ongoing and readily available source of emergency cell phones to meet unexpected and urgent needs of vulnerable residents in communities nationwide.  Since its inception, the 911 Cell Phone Bank has generated more than 80,000 emergency cell phones for victim services organizations nationwide.
