The Adesso Aries floor lamp provides efficient ambient lighting for an entire room in a slim design. Simplicity shines in this look with a brushed steel finish and a tapered frosted plastic shade. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable LED bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results, achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low setting flicker, but it may still occur.
